I graduated with a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University (Indiana). I did a research in
Chirp Z / Rosenbrock LSE frequency discrimination in noise and Piezoelectric accelerometer physiologic monitor

MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY -
I worked on a Masters in Computer Science at Marquette (Milwaukee, Wisconsin). I specialized in Computer System design and networking.

WALDEN UNIVERSITY -
In 2012, I got my Ph.D. in Operations Research from Walden University with a doctoral dissertation on Manifold Wireless networks, subsequently submitting a
patent on Manifold Wireless networks.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
·
GENERAL ELECTRIC -
I worked at General Electric Medical systems in Milwaukee Wisconsin as a software engineer from 1991 to 1996.
I worked on Magnetic Resonance Imaging as a systems engineer and I was the principle engineer for the ultrasound calculations software subsystem. I also worked on the cinematographic circuit board in hardware engineering.

ALCATEL-LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES -
In 1996, I joined Lucent Technologies in Whippany, New Jersey. I worked on TDMA (2G) as a software development engineer.
Then, I became a Systems Architect Engineer and promoted to a distinguished member of the technical staff.
I worked on UMTS (3G) in systems engineering as it debuted and worked on LTE (4G). Lucent merged with Alcatel in 2007 and then Nokia in 2016.

NOKIA -
I was a Systems Architect working on 5G Base Stations Software architecture and Open Network Automated Platform (ONAP).
I am currently working in the 5G Standards Organization in Bell Laboratories.
I work at Murray Hill, New Jersey.

The Tech Deck
is a modern version of classic playing cards bringing playing cards into the 21st century.
The deck has 54 cards in 4 domains/suits (Information, Science, Technology and Services) with 2 wild cards.
Each card represents something from modern society in each of those domains.

PEER-TO-PEER (2020) -
Peer-to-Peer
is a team deck-building game using the Tech Deck, a 21st century deck of playing cards.
Players divide into two teams and share a play deck and group hand.

TECH GRID POKER (2021) -
Tech Grid Poker
is a two-dimensional poker game using the Tech Deck, a 21st century deck of playing cards.
Player use cards to form two poker hands along rows & columns of a card grid.

TECH CITY (2021) -
Tech City
is a multi-player, semi-cooperative, tile/card laying city-building game that uses the Tech Deck, a 21st century deck of playing cards.
As the players cooperate to build tech city more game effects on cards become available to players to use.
OTHER NOTEWORTHY THINGS

LANGUAGES -
Besides English, I am also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and American Sign Language. I have taught American Sign Language for 10 years and have assisted teaching ASL classes at Drew University (Madison, NJ). I am semi-proficient in spoken German, Japanese, Spanish, Thai, Latin, Cantonese, and Taiwanese.

HOBBIES -
I was the Heroclix World Champion, a chess-like miniatures game, in 2008. I am currently ranked the #2 player in the world in Star Trek Attack Wing, a miniatures tactical game. I was in the United States Chess Federation (USCF) and played in chess tournaments.

TRAVEL -
I have traveled to 30 countries around the world which has broadened his perspective on life and in comprehending the world at large. I have been to USA, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Belize, Venezuela, Peru, Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, Costa Rica, Cayman, Dominican Republic, Italy, Germany, France, UK, Spain, Portugal, Senegal, Gambia, Thailand, Japan, Laos, China, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, and India.
